GPNA Education Committee is committed to fostering community-centered learning initiatives that empower residents through civic education, school partnerships, and literacy initiatives

Strategic Plan

  • To establish consistent engagement with regular meeting schedule

  • Create measurable community impact

  • Pursue fundraising opportunities, grants, and partnerships to effectively support the engagement plan

Annual Goals

  • Civic Education & Public Policy Engagement – Host forums and initiatives that educate residents about local government, public policy, and ways to advocate for their community.

  • School Partnerships & Advocacy – Strengthening relationships with neighborhood schools, PTAs, and school leadership to support students and educators & promote volunteer opportunities.

  • Youth Literacy & Play-Based Learning – Organizing read-aloud events, play-based literacy activities, and community book engagement to foster a culture of reading and lifelong learning.
