Beautification and Sustainability Committee Meeting

We raised nearly $10k from Taste of Grove Park! and that is just so far. With some follow up we might be able raise some more contributions. Come celebrate and brainstorm follow up and how we might use these funds this year to secure the aging housing of our legacy residents. Also, we will discuss the various beautification projects for this summer and fall.

Together, we'll remove invasive species and learn to recognize old growth forest remnants, followed by a walk to explore the beauty of Proctor Creek or the high forest near the ridgeline.

May Beautification and Sustainability Committee Meeting

This Thursday we will meet and discuss the year ahead including spring refresh of the garden and beautifying the new signs we installed. Additionally, a major goal this year will be to focus on planning for the linear parks, possibly with the support of Park Pride. Ideally we will get the grass mowed less aggressively and possibly remulching might begin. Come plan with us! We will meet in conjunction with the Grove Park Gives committee as well.
