NOTICE OF proposed PROPERTY TAX INCREASE

The Fulton County Board of Commissioners has tentatively adopted a 2024 millage rate which will require an increase in property taxes by 3.74 percent. This increase will bring the millage rate to 8.87 mills, an increase of .32 mills. For a home with a fair market value of $500,000, the proposed tax increase is approximately $54.40, and for a non-homestead property valued at $750,000, it's around $96.00.

To ensure your voices are heard, all concerned citizens are invited to attend public hearings on this tax increase at the Government Center Assembly Hall, 141 Pryor Street, Atlanta, GA 30303 on July 10, 2024, at 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. You can also participate via video conferencing accessible through the Fulton County website or via Zoom. Additional public hearings will be held on August 7, 2024, at 10 a.m.
